Catfish

There are many stories of being around Dick and Sharon, they are my brother Mikes Godparents, and just seemed like in those days, we were always around family. Mike and I always loved their huge fish tank and their many fish. But this is one of my favorite stories with Dick.

When I was younger, Dick always talked about fishing and catching Walleye and Catfish and how the Catfish had stingers that they would use to stick you. I asked him if it hurt if they stuck you? In his little chuckled "heck yes it hurts",

A couple years went by and Dick asked if I wanted to go fishing with him, we went to Lake Minatare and long story short, I caught a Catfish. I was used to Bass, Walleye, Sunfish, wasn't sure how to grab this Catfish so I wouldn't get stung. After some time, Dick seen I was struggling, grabbed the Catfish, took my lure out, asked if I wanted to keep it, I said NO, and threw it back in the Lake. Everytime I catch a catfish, I think of that day.

Thank You for taking me fishing, taking care of my brother, and hope you catch the LUNKER.
