Julie Ann Edwards, 68, of Scottsbluff, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff. Her memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Holy Apostle’s Episcopal Church in Mitchell with Pastor Chris Kester-Beyer officiating. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Julie’s honor be made in care of the church or Welcov Assisted Living in Scottsbluff. Julie was born July 10, 1948 in Alliance, NE to Dr. Paul and Floyce (Perkins) Cunningham. She received her education and graduated from Scottsbluff High School and later from Western Nebraska Community College. She was a member of Holy Apostle’s Episcopal Church in Mitchell, the Mitchell Chapter of PEO and a lifelong member of the Audubon Society. She loved nature, animals, long walks, reading, music and the theatre.

Julie is survived by her son Chad Edwards and friend Michelle, of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Shelly (Mike) Rajewich of Westminster, CO; grandchildren Katelyn Rajewich of Westminster, CO and Mallorie (Jaylon) Blackmon of Salida, CO; cousins Virginia (Ted) Peeks of Chappell, NE, Bill (Diane) Michie, Jr. of Sidney, NE, and Louise (Mike) McGreer of Big Springs, NE; and special friend Larry Hobday of Scottsbluff, NE.
Her parents, and sisters Cathy and Paula Cunningham preceded her in death.

Julie had many wonderful lifelong friends who loved her dearly. She will be missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
